Dr. V's Scalp Rebalancing Exfoliator (120ml) is a science-backed, leave-on pre-wash treatment that clears build-up while protecting and nourishing the scalp barrier, for all scalp types — normal, oily and dry — and for dandruff, seborrhoeic dermatitis and inactive scalp psoriasis. Gentle acids unclog follicles and lift dead cells (Lactic Acid 4%, Salicylic Acid 1% and polyhydroxy Gluconolactone 3%), while Glycerin 10%, Squalane 5%, Panthenol and Allantoin hydrate and soothe, Ceramide NP rebuilds the barrier, Prebiotics and Rosemary extract rebalance and calm, and Tetrahexyldecyl Ascorbate (Vitamin C) with Tocopherol (Vitamin E) brighten and protect — together creating a healthy foundation for stronger growth. It is free from denatured alcohol, fragrance and essential oils, cruelty-free, and uniquely suitable during pregnancy and nursing, from age 10+; it also helps with ingrown hairs, but should be patch-tested and kept off cracked, inflamed or bleeding scalps. Once a week, massage a small amount into a dry or slightly damp scalp in sections, leave for 10–15 minutes, then rinse with warm water and shampoo — it works even when the scalp isn't clean and pairs best with the Dr. V Thickening Shampoo.
